Chris is the founder, owner and drive behind STARPIC PROJECT with a wealth of skill and experienced in business, training, media, youth work and a qualified coach in several sport disciplines. The focus is to provide an opportunity for young people to gain and develop transferable skills, working with individuals towards a more positive destination to help build confidence and reduce barriers for those who attend.
Alana has been dancing from a young age. Trained at Edinburgh Theatre School of Dance and progressed on to Laines Theatre Arts dance school in Epsom. With over 18 years experience, Alana is an experienced teacher of dance and fitness to all ages, working on core strength, balance, importance of team commitment and dedication to deliver high quality performances. Alana will work with the Starpic dancers motivating everyone to reach their individual potential.
Dawn has over 20 years coaching experience working with adults and children of all ages.
LesMills qualified and delivers Edinburgh Leisure classes througout the city. Dawn is a great asset to STARPIC dance delivering high quality at our classes towards motivating everyone to reach their individual potential.
Siobhan has over 10 years coaching experience, working with kids of all ages delivering movement to music, adult and child fitness and in a UKCC level 1 gymnastic coach. Siobhan is a great asset to STARPIC dance delivering high quality coaching and providing a positive experience for all our Starpic attendees.
Chloe is one of our volunteers who has a wealth of dance experiance looking to develop into coaching. Chloe currently studys dance at school and will be working alongside the Starpic team gaining valuable skill and knoweldge while being mentored by Starpic.
Erin has a Bcs Honours Degree in physical, activity and wellbeing and had been involved in gymnastics from a young age and has over 20 years’ experience in competing and performing in various disciplines (artistic, rhythmic and cheerleading). Erin delivers various gymnastic disciplines within the community providing a positive coaching experience for the young people. Erin will share the skill and knowledge through the delivery at STARPIC.
Ashley has achieved BTEC level 3, HND and BA Honours Degree in dance after starting dance training from a young age being introduced to Ballet, Tap, Contemporary and Jazz. With several years experience in coaching, working in the industry and delivering dance conditioning to achieve high standards, Ashley will contribute to the success of STARPIC dance delivering passion effort and commitment towards motivating everyone to reach their individual potential.
Maria is one of our volunteers who has experiance in performing now looking to develop into coaching and has achieved higher dance and and will be working alongside the Starpic team gaining valuable skill and knoweldge being mentored by Starpic. Maria will work on delivering various dance styles to encourage dancers allowing opportunity for development in dance.
Amal has been involved in dance from a young age with experience in performing. Having completed college and achieved an HND in Coaching and Sport Development, AMAL has experience in working with primary and high school students delivering various activities including fitness, dance and sports. Amal will be a great asset to the coaching team and is looking to develop the fundamentals and offer a path for the young people.
Kirsty has experiance performing and coaching dance to high standard. Kirsty achieved an HND in dance and a HNC in performance, having returned from an epic three year journey performing in Greece, Spain and Portugal, Kirsty will share knowledge while delivering sessions for STARPIC.
Jenna is an embassador for Scottish Dance Theatre and has experiance performing and coaching dance to a high standard. Jenna achieved an HND in dance and a BA Honours Degree in dance and is looking forward to working with the team at Starpic.
Stefani has experiance performing and coaching in Balgaria and in the UK. Having achieved Classical Ballet Professional diploma and a BA Honours Degree in dance and choreography. Stefani has taught adults and children while delivering lectures for studnets at university. Stefani will contribute to the success of STARPIC dance working with students to achieve their potential in dance.
Charley has a great wealth of skill and knoweldeg being a dancer from a young age. Charley has an HND in professional dance performance and had worked in Grease delivering dance to children and is looking forward to working part of the Starpic team.
Leigh has been involved in dance from the age of 3 with experience in competing and performing in various shows, with a wide variety of styles such as; contemporary, lyrical, jazz, commercial, hip-hop and ballet, has a grade 6 in RAD ballet and performed with Edinburgh Dance Academy. Leigh will provide the concept of different dance styles to encourage dancers, making it fun and allowing opportunity for development in dance.
